This place was too crowded to get without all the trees. So I know I will get the "too busy" comments.

As a suggestion, try taking the image into Photoshop (assuming you have it), and in the Hue/Saturation adjustments, take the yellow channel hue and saturation to the right a little (may 10 pts) and bright the lightness down a bit (10-20 pts) to give the yellows more of a darker, richer green look, and bring the red saturation up just a little. Very nice. The sun on the grass makes the picture very colorful but stills allows the shadows to swallow up the structure.

I don't think even Bob Villa could do anything with this house. Nice composition.

No wonder it was abandoned - the feng shui is all wrong. ;-)

The color variations and lighting in the grass mad this one work for me.

too bad you couldn't of shot this at another time of day, when the sun highlighted the building instead of the grass. If it was cropped in more to the building under these conditions (and lit for that) ....

Very nice composition on this shot. I love the contrast of the bright green against the tattered building. The sunlight against the grass is somewhat distracting though. Perhaps with a touch of tweaking?

Great color. The building being in shadow gives it more of an air of abandonment. Very nice composition. Good clarity.
