First thing I want to say is Great Lighting!. The light falling on the water in the foreground is amazing. And the moment you caught is excellent! The only thing I'm thinking about that could be better is to see more of the sky. Not sure if I'm right or not. And if you could have placed a person on that rock. Man ohhhhh... man this shot would be perfect.

A good shot overall and good luck in future challenges.

Nice capture and framing. This might benefit from a little dodging and/or burning to further distinguish the water from the sky and the water highlights.

Very nice, and tranquil, beautiful capture. I have to take the ferry over and take some pictures around Vancouver Island sometime.

nicely seen and observed. the detail is fantastic, considering the size limitations. i can only begin to imagine what this would look like large. very impressive capture. thanks for sharing. hope this does well for you. good luck!

Lovely shot of a wonderful, noisy scene! You have some sharpen halos though, so next time leave the sharpening until you've resized your shot for 640px then convert to lab colour and sharpen the 'lightness' channel (and fade as appropriate). Works a treat.

This has great color and a wonderful feeling of wind and sea. This is why I gave it a 6. The main problem I see here is that there is too much sharpening. I can see a white outline around the rocks and this detracts from the beauty of the image.

just a tad on the dark side.....I don't see an absolute white....is your monitor calibrated? still a stunning shot.
