 Going for kind of a classic composition, trying to catch the character and former "grandeur" of a typical big old barn. I drive past this old wreck quite often and have many times said I should photograph it. Lo and behold, now I had the perfect excuse! Tried to get a subtle selective desat, not to jump out at you, but to accentuate the main trait of the barn and capture some detail and texture, straight b/w just seemed a bit bland on this particular shot. In ps - rotated, cropped, usm, levels, hue/sat , resized and saved.

an odd tint to the faded red.

Just a little too much processing. The sky look like spray paint. I think a rectangular crop would have looked a little better. The right edge of the building is too close to the edge of the photo.

this looks like a painting. nice job, there's a lot of things that work for me on this photo..the angle, the lighting, the object itself. great job.

I love the angle on this! It looks almost selectively desaturated, but I'm not sure it is. If it is, it's very expertly done! I like this picture a lot!
