Houses that look like this will frequently fetch close to half a million dollars in this part of NJ. Don't know the cost of joining this 'neigborhood.' It's hard to get anywhere else from here, and you are crammed in as if you lived in a city. In other words: 'All the disadvantages of living in the city combined with all the disadvantages of living in the country.'

And whats the freaking alternative? move south to North Carolina? no thanks; I thank God tha tI live here is "semi-rural" CT, and I also am thankful that CT is not totally New Jersey yet.

Whimsical and wicked. I especially enjoyed the inclusion of the base of what I assume is a big, awful power pylon, framing the dreary echelon of identical houses. Nicely observed and executed example of the photograph as social commentary.
