this looks like a beatiful place. in a strange way, though, the lighting gives it the feel of being an artificial set--like a museum display with a painted backdrop. i like the composition and subject matter, but it feels just a bit too sterile for me to connect with it emotionally. |

Excellent color and subject. Did you use a fill flash? |

This shot reminds me of a wild west backdrop. What a setting. Nice job. |

Great overall appeal and colour but a little detail has been lost in the cacti. |

The lighting looks a tad artificial but the composition is good, the sunset makes this all the more special... |

This is a definite WOW image! I love the colors of the sky, the thumbnail really caught my eye, your choice of subject is wonderful! Good luck! Top pick I think! 10 |

well this is different
The image I feel is a little too dark and need some enhancement but points for a very good idea I like to see something new 8 |

Beautiful shot! Incredible lighting! I'll step out on a limb here and guess that this is Anza Borrego at the Visitor Center at sunrise. One of the LA DPC crew, perhaps? Forgive me if I'm wrong. |

the odd lighting makes it look unatural, like a diorama |

Very interesting use of light. I like how you put the brightest part of the sun behind the cactus. Looks like you used an off camera flash to the right. I think it came together well and keeps my eye interested and moving around the photo. 8 |

Very Good Image, I thought it should have been cropped closer on the left to offset the the garden being so central |

Interesting lighting, but I don't care for the border. |
