| Flower pictures have to be absolutely flawless to do anything at all on here - and this one is darned close. I wish the lighting was a bit more even on the right side, but otherwise this picture is superb. 9 |

Critique: Macro? Leaf cut off on the side is also a bit distracting.
Praise: Wonderful shadows and detail throughout. Black background really lets the subject stand out and be noticed. Color saturation is excellent and the lighting is very well done. Overall this is nicely done. |

Don't take this wrong......IMHO this not a macro....it is a great shot. I score this a 7.

| Pretty and nicely lit. But I want to see all of that rightmost petal. Also, crop out some of the empty space above. |

| Leave the flowers outside where they belong! I would have liked to see a subject that would naturally occur indoors. |

| Nice soft photo, good and sharp where it needs to be I wish the petal on the right could be in the photo too, but it is still an excellent photo. |
