Critique Club Comment:

Hi there,

Yep, nice girl, I agree, but not really DPC material I guess.
You know voters want clean, non distracting photo̢۪s and can̢۪t appreciate something that̢۪s different.
If you are going for points, then all the tips that are in the comments are true.
The guy in the bottom of the frame the guy with the backpack, they are distracting.
There is so much sunlight shining on the girls hair, and yes, it looks like a snapshot of a total stranger, because it is a snapshot of a total stranger.

That doesn̢۪t mean it̢۪s a bad photo, it only means it does not score very well on DPC
Some really good photo̢۪s got hammered here, and sometimes I don̢۪t understand why a particular photo won sometimes. (For instance look at the winner of this Challenge, People, I still don̢۪t understand why this photo won)

Never mind what others think, just love this photo yourself, and submit something else for a new challenge.

I hope this helps you in any way.

Keep up the good work.

Peter

To me, I think the two people on the right are a little distracting. It's great how you've been able to take the photo without her noticing. It's not easy to do methinks.

Hot chicks on cell phones always score an [8] with me, just a rule of thumb. ;-) It was cooperative of that guy in the foreground to bend down out of the way for you. Nice candid camera!

Ok, the girl is hot I'll give you that. But what's with the two guys backs filling half the picture. The composition is very poor. It looks like a snapshot of a total stranger. If the whole right side of the picture would have been cropped out (leaving the girl in white in the back) it would allready look MUCH better.
