It's amazing how the human mind jumps to symbols and conclusions therefrom. A drop of water, a reflection, reminiscences, romantic pathos, focus... a lot of allegories therein. Simple but fine.

This is a great shot. I am a big fan of photos that convey a sense of serenity, and this shot definitely does it. The horizontal lines in the composition add to the calmness. i love how the drop puts the bokeh in focus. Im glad I stumbled accross this one!

These are not easy to get! Good job. I think I might like the contrast bumped just a bit. It might also be fun to play with the color tones...I would try a bit of blue to get that cold feel to it.

Good DOF but the crispness of the drop is not in full clarity. The pink tones kinda works for me (but that's just my taste. it seems to work for judi) but not too much. I think this would be better had it been blue tints rather than pink.

This is just beautiful... I love the way the foreground is all about the horizontal plane and the background about the vertical.

What a beautiful reflection this is. The whole feeling of your photograph is calm, thoughtful, and peaceful. Nice work! The only thing I might like better is if the background were even more blurred, to force the eye not to wander away from the water drop.
