Nice capture - I like that the horse's leg is blurred, suggesting movement. I'd like to see a closer crop on the two subjects (to better emphasize the 'people' aspect of the challenge), but I also like having the horse and buggy fully in the shot. A tighter crop on the buggy/horse as a whole might accomplish this as well IMHO. The child's expression is great = ) |

Marj, a technically superb photograph, but even more, just a wonderful scene. I love the contrast in expressions between the old man and the little boy. Congrats on your high placement in this challenge! -len |

crisp, and doesn't look like a snapshot. Two attributes missing from most of this challenge's entries. |

Although age gives these to people a very different outlook, they are united by a powerful tradition. Great photo! |

one smilng face
one not
I would not have noticed this if not for the title, good title BTW
It might have been better to leave a little more space on the L for the horse to move into
good luck /8 |

GREAT focus and tones. Love the color and vivid blacks. One of my favorites so far! The contrasting expressions between the old man and the kid couldn't have been better. You should finish high! |

Awesome shot! I already gave it a 10 during the first go-round, but wanted to come back and tell you it is one of 2 shots I gave a 10 to. Great job! Wish I could be specific, but there is nothing I don't like about it. |

Due to the unfortunate angle the outlooks seem to be from inside the carriage and from inside the horse's hindquarters. Since the rest of the image looks static, the lone blurry hoof stands out a bit too much.
