kinda wierd, i dont really like the effect.

I understand the "look" you were going for... but I think you need to adjust the post-processing a little... I think it would have been more successful with more tones, even though you are going for a high key look.

You love it or you don't, in this case, i don't but maybe tomorrow i will. Maybe, a little darker.....

Nicely done. I like the effect.

Excellent attempt at high key, I just think that the edges of his face being washed out make it very slightly unsettling. Re-processing to add back in some of the definition of the image might have increased the score.

I'm sure Andrew is a lovely child but this technique does nothing for me -- or him. He looks almost like a ghost

personally, I think this is way too high key. the detail is totally blown out and then the added eye color looks very painted. 6

Errrm, am I the only one that thinks this is too pale?

the extreme white areas seem to take away from the subject but it's good to see people trying different things not enough of us on the road less traveled

Too high-key for my tastes. I feel you should able to at least see SOME features.

The drawing arts effect is a nice touch. I love how you did the eyes.

I realise you're going for the high-key look here but it mostly comes across as extreme post processing. There is some noise and odd artifacts in the image from the extreme adjustments made. I think being a little less extreme and more subtle may have worked better for me, but if you like the effect you got then that is just as good too.

Interesting take but you have lost too much of the photo here for me

i like this type of shot. However i think you have gone a little too far
good luck anyway

Keep working on it, leave more there and not so much white-out.

Interesting take on the challenge, I know what you were going for but I wish I could have seen a little more features on Andrew's face. Good Luck.

So much editing...it looks like a drawing rather than a photograph, and it's too washed out. I want to see more detail.

does not appeal at all to me
each to his own
good luck

Having a real hard time with this one.
I'm sure some that really like this sytle of high-key imaging will love it. I don't love it, and don't hate it either - just not my style. (5)

I know you went for something edgy but I think you tried a little too hard to "get outside the box". Goodluck!

For my taste it is far to light. I'm not sure if you wanted to have it so extremely wihte but it is far too ligt for my taste. But the taste is of course different from one person to another.

Not a big fan of this effect.

I think the HIGH contrast almost makes the little boy look a bit creepy...I'm not sure that's the effect you were after.

I usually like to see extreme type shots but this is really extreme extreme

I think that the high-key might be a bit overdone. I think that more grey tones would have helped

My guess is that this will be voted down, as it is highly processed. Maybe I'm wrong, good luck!

This is very cute. I like the framing of it. There's an intensity of the boy's face yet he still looks relaxed and playful. Two adjustments that would be interesting to see are coloured eyes (they already look v. slightly blue) and darker blacks
