Not a fan of the title, but this was in my top group of picks. The only issue I might have is that shadow that cuts across his face.

and i bet he has a bunch to tell. wish the shadow from his hat didn't fall across his mouth like it does but there wasn't much you could do about that.

Good character study.

This picture has a number of interseting qualities with the txtural differences between the hair and the beard. This added to the shades and the hat produce a frame for the almost totally obscured face. I do find the shadow from the had rather distracting. This can be reduced with some playing arounf in photoshop...

I love these older burly looking man photos, however the lighting/shadow on this is mildly distracting.... 7

And a lifetime of stories I'm sure he would share.
Very nicely spotted and composed, with good control of the lighting, especially in the shadows. (7)

Wonerful candid portrait of an interesting subject. I get the feeling he's a street busker, but I can't be sure because the frame's in close, which is something I like, it leaves me wondering. [10]

What a character, is he telling stories of your photo yet?

If not for the shadow falling across his face, this would be an excellent photograph. Next, I would suggest that you wait a few minutes for the sun to change positions so that the shadow doesn't distract from your image.

"Watch in amazement as I identify all of the things caught in my beard..."

The color doesn't seem to add anything to the image, and I think that B&W would have emphasized the interesting textures.

Sun through the man's hair worked well, but I did not like the shadow cutting cross his face. Good choice of model.

Good color and perspective. A little overexposed on the beard

A wonderful photo or a captivating subject. Great cropping and a nice shot of the subject looking out into the open space. I really like the dark background and the DOF. The lighting on his lower lip and beard is a bit harsh, and is the only bit of nitpicking I can do. One of my favorites and I shall score it accordingly.

SUCH a great photo. The title is perfect because that's exactly what I think when I look at him -- like he's got a million interesting stories to tell. I love the composition on this, and the focus is perfect. I just love the picture itself! Perffect 10.

I think the pose and background work nicely, what I think would make this even stronger is a sepia or black and white conversion. The colors don't really add the punch it needs.

Interesting looking fellow. Maybe a tighter crop or more of the face and less of the beard. Sun a bit too bright. Seems most of the focus is on his hat.

Shadow and highlight might have been used a little too much to brighten the shadow- otherwise great capture.

Something strange about the colors in the face and specially darkness around the nose... good for character image though
