Well spotted! Poor bird, a long way from the wild... |

Amazing observation - I can't imagine this Canada goose surviving unharmed so exposed. Hope it and its family will be OK. People won't like this on an aesthetic level but I think your photojournalism deserves plenty of credit here. |

Unusual photo but not a pretty one with the background. |

This is a great newspaper shot, it tells a sad story of nature and man, but also says something about courage. |

Interesting shot. Typically you want to leave cropping space in front of the direction your subject's head is looking, rather than behind. I would also like to see the depth of field reduced (larger aperture) so that the background buildings were less prominent, but still identifiable. |

Wow great luck. Is that an actual nest there in the middle of the parking lot. I think this could have benefitted from a light shallower DOF Enough that you can tell it is a parking lot in the middle of a city, but not so much detail, because it draws attention from the canadian goose. 6 |

I love this shot, and the title is great. I would have liked it a little better if it had been cropped at the top of the tallest stick. Leave out the "city life". IMHO. 8 |
