Amazing clarity and DOF - simply beautiful. I really like the composition too - the negative space works well. I must admit I think I scored this too low (6) in the challenge - it definitely deserved 8+. Very nice piece of work. |

as much as i want to say nice capture, there's just too much that feels artificial about it, almost as if i was looking at a stuffed animal in a museum. it must be the lighting. the composition and colors are fine, it's just the overall feeling of the image that is letting me down. oh, well, i'm just one opinion; i'm sure most others will love it. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

i like the space you've left above the lion. It really works for the shot. |

I would have liked a tighter crop to bring out the detail in the fur |

Nice DOF, the fur is all in focus, but the back wall is not. The expresion works also. |

Color looks washed out by sun, shadow is detracting. |

Usually works better when there is contrast between subject and background. Great lion though. |

Very beautiful lion. Love the overall tones and sharpness. Being a Leo, I am particularly fond of this king of the jungle. Super job!! (Do you think you could get a similar shot of the whole cat?) |

This is a really nice shot of a great subject. I think this particular photo would match the title better and be more effective overall if you cropped off the top third and maybe brightened it a bit as well. Otherwise, really excellent photo! |
