Greetings from Critique Club:

This was a fun image to look at. It made me think of what a two headed cat would be like in an obscure science fiction novel. The idea was really awesome in my opinion.

The focus seems a bit off, especially on the mirror side which is hard enough to get in focus anyway. I think maybe you might have set the autofocus on the mirror side or right in the middle and then moved the camera. It also appears like you used flash, which made the white parts pretty bright.

The other main problem is that the background is pretty distracting, especially that it isn't symmetrical and takes away from the symmetry of the entire image which was almost dead on. This of course would be easy to change with spot editing and its a shame you can't do it for the challenges. I'd go back and do it for my own personal portfolio if I were you, maybe just cut out the background and make it all pure black.

Oh, the whiskers are a great touch and I laughed out loud reading your photographer's comments picturing you trying to get the cat to stay on the mirror.

Keep shootin'

Look out, the cat's going to fall off! Great effect.

Haha! Good shot, I like the angle. The background looks a little messy, but the darkness helps conceal it.

nice pic. good job.

Nice optical illusion, but I can tell the one on the right is the REAL kitty cat.

wow, that looks like my cat! I will have to raise the score for that:)

Somehow it makes me a little uncomfortable.

I like your orientation, it makes the picture more about the symmetry less about the cat.

hehe. Funny idea. Too bad it isn't quite in focus. It also seems slightly overexposed, and the background is a bit disturbing. (6)

nice clear image, good idea

good job, the symetry pulls the picture together.

Great idea. A bit flat with the lighting and a little too much stuff going on in the background. The reflection is suprisingly a little blurred too. Real close to being a very good image.

the stuff in the background is a little annoying still i wish i thought of that great shot!

Great idea to turn the pic sideways. Give more impact. Should have used Unsharp Mask a little more on this.

Not the run of the mill cat shot. This is nice the framing and perspective here.

The lamp?

a fun idea but focus if off and background is distracting

Great idea and angle. It would be voted much higher if it weren't for the focus. I always have problems with focus using digital cameras myself.

Nice image. Good quality. The cat has a lot of different textures in the fur that give value to the image as well. Good job.

I would have titled this 'Siamese Cats' ;-)

Good idea for the title - or possibly was the idea for the pic from an idea for the title?
