Nice use of desat!

While the hand gestures are great, the daughters mouth is in a rather state of minor tension. Overall, the desat works well. 6

Very interesting use of selective desat. I'm not sure I would've taken that route. Hard to tell without seeing it in all color. I wish I could say what it is, but something feels off balance with this image. Maybe if the background was dark grey or solid white? Cool shot nonetheless.

Nice idea. Cute looking, but I don't think it gained anything with the selective desat. (although I'm a big fan of the technic)

I like the tie Dye composition...

Interesting idea - I actually like the selective desaturation in this case. Clarity is good, if slightly oversharpened; the only gripe I really have is the shadow on the right side of the image, which could be taken care of with a bit of dodging. Nice shot!

I think that this would be a stronger image (particularly for the current challenge) if the people were the focus rather than the shirts.

I really like your selected the saturation on this. The composition is excellent. It doesn't detract from the picture, but I wish you had left their scan in color.

Nice selective desat. Thought they look more like they are supressing a giggle than meditating. With a more serene expression this would have been really great.

I like it. One of the few examples in this challenge where selective desaturation worked well

Not often I like a selective desat very much, but this one works for me. It's a wonderful image, you can both see the physical kinship and feel the emotional kinship.

Nice idea - but I'd like to see it without the selective desat. Crisp main subjects and nice soft background.
