I had wondered where this shot had got to - this man has a remarkable face. The image is stacked full of wonderful contrasts that I personally find really engrossing. Firstly the tonalities are great - from the highlights in his hair to the darkness of the background everything is very nicely exposed. I really like the way his kind, gentle expression alleviates the harshness one might expect given the defined lines on his face.
