 Focal length 18 mm. Cokin circular polarizer, 1-stop graduated neutral density and 3-stop soft graduated neutral density filters. Aperture priority, spot-metering off the foreground, hand-held. Shot towards the sun in late afternoon.

Post processing in Photoshop 7.0: Perspective and distortion correction, Levels, Curves, Hue&Saturation adjustments, a few imperfections cloned out, a little bit of NeatImage on the sky, resize and USM.

Hey Oz,

This is one cool photo, but I can see how DPCPrints might have a hard time with it (in terms of printing), especially if the lower section is oversharpened even a little. I don't mind the noisy sky, but they might. This is a quality photograph. Keep up the good work!

I really like this one, Incredible sense of depth. shame the lighthouse(?) is so dark, but i guess you used a graduated filter

Not quite sure about the light in the foreground, seems a bit unnatural. I like how you've included much of the seascape. Great job!

i like this composition. the foregrouns is fantastic with that glossy look, but the noise in the sky isn't adding anything to the shot at all.
