 A candid shot of my son Ethan, so please forgive the ugly background. I didn't intend this for a challenge!

I think it a super cute shot, even if he is my son. :-)

Lens: 50mm
Steps:
1) Ethan on one layer, background on another.
2) Adjust levels on Ethan
3) Make the background darker
4) Burn blownout areas of his hair
5) Resize
6) USM on Ethan layer
7) Flatten
8) Save for web.

Superman now this is a classic. Every little kids dream. The colors are spectacular. The contrast is just wonderful I hope this ribbons well done.

Good exposure on a candid capture. Not sure if it's motion blur or just DOF falling off, but the camera right side of his face seems soft or blurred. I think overall this will look nice in your family album.

Priceless. I think this would make a great cropped shot as well. It looks great with the frame moved in to the shoulder just below the cape. What a perfect expression.
