This is just a candid photo of a father watching his kids play in a playground. I was about 50m away from the man and about 10m away from the wooden fort. Shot with a telephoto lens (hence the flattened perspective).

depth of feild looks fake because forground is in focus and so is background except not all of it..it's a nice composition but it looks too fakey at closer inspection

I'm glad you didn't decide to do a selective desaturation on this with just the steps as yellow. For the shooting conditions you manages the exposure very well. This is a fun little shot.
