Definitely sticks out as a memorable shot. I like the candid-esque look as well. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe clone out the highlighted area on the top right of the scene. IMHO it competes with the two people.

hey Brad, i think this should have finished much higher than it did... It is certainly much better than the 49%-tile it got.

This kind of hit me below the belt, but then after looking at the other shots I thought would have done very well didn't either.
Go figure.
This is the world that I find important - people and a millisecond slice of who they are, as created in the looks people have when being natural.

I don't usually like graininess but it works here

Awwww... I like the darkness of this sweet shot. My eye seems to think that camera needs to be pointed just a tad to the right - that the subjects are a little too close to the middle - but that's nothing too major as far as I'm concerned. The focus is nice, with pleasant bokeh, and the toning is great for the mood. Very emotive shot.

Nicely toned candid. I'd have dropped the view slightly lower and waited until the person at the back had moved. There's some dilineation going on in the background that I can't work out but it doesn't matter much.

This is a great b&w image. I like the expression on both of their faces. The lighting and contrast were handled very well, and the composition was well thought out. Nice job!

Good subject, but I would have liked to have seen a slightly tighter cropping
