This is not a very interesting subject for this challenge and doesn't compare well with many of the other 500 entries

Not sure inclusion of car works for me, and I wish the sky had more detail/ interesting clouds.

Hmmm, another Larry Niven fan... Title aside, good image, the car gives it scale. Would have been even better if you could have made your composition closer to 2/3 - 1/3 mountain, sky. Still, good one.

Thw scene is appealing, but I don't think you've brought much to the table here. I get the feeling that anyone standing at this site would have achieved the same result.

In order to make this more special and 'designed' I would have used a more dramatic viewpoint to emphasis the barren and jagged landscape (low down with some rocks in the foreground). Your composition is a 50/50 split which anaesthetises the image further. As the sky is quite plain I would have grabbed much more of the foreground or soomed in to to the interesting, well lit stuff.
