 I caught this shot of this dancer preparing for his performance at the Albuquerque, NM Tricentennial kickoff celebration. He was just momemtarily pausing at the top of a hill and I was lucky to catch the shot w/no distracting background. Lots of postprocessing - levels, dodge, b&c, emboss to sharpen oof image (thanks SDW65 for the tutorial), cloning minor distractions, USM.

Very nice hes hat... You did a great job to capture it in a non desturbing background... with this i mean you can see the full details on the hat... very neat.

This looks cool. a little bit hot. I'll bet a circular polarizer would have helped punch up those colors.

What an amazing head dress.

Your shot is good and you've chosen a good viewpoint which separates it from the snapshot brigade. It's a bit of a shame that you've cropped any of it though.
