I love the reeds & their reflections. I find the white bits a bit distracting, but fear it might look to artifical if you cloned them out. Nice shot |

for some reason the interactions of the colors are making the space begins to look flat. |

Well done the reflection works nicely, placement of the grass draws the eye in and holds it there......7 |

nice, peaceful scene. I would have liked to have the floating debris cloned out, but it is a nice image anyway. |

Lovely tranquil shot, would have done well in minimalism! |

Good shot. Too bad the reflected sky wasn't more interesting. |

Quite modern, I think; in the sense that your subject is not a classically gorgeous one, but is more about the real, the beauty of the mundane, the anti-beautiful, if you like, except this doesn include some more usual stuff. That very smoothness of that wate is exceptionally well done - those bubbles or whatever essential just to let us know it's there; the tones of the grasses work well with that blue also. can't imagine the masses going for it in any particular way, but it has appreciation from this quarter. |

Breathtaking by its simplicity. A truly wonderful image, with vibrant colours, great DOF and a sense of peace and tranquility. Upper level score from me... it should do well. |

i love this. this is the type of image i love to just sit back and soak in. thanks for sharing.
the one thing i wrestle with in images like this, is how much clean up do you do. while the stuff floating on the right preserves the 'integrity' of what you captured, don't you sometimes feel that the image would be more enjoyable if that stuff was cleaned up? i guess it really comes down to what you want from an image. i can appreciate it either way. |
