sometimes I'm an idiot.

in the original Simon blends into the background, so i intentionally added a glow around him to add to the surreal effect and make him stand out. It's not haloing from sharpening, it was actually quite intentional.

If it were a sharpening issue it would be far more present in detailed areas like the tree branches.

Keep pursuing this path - you've show a very unique style with this one that I would love to see more of. Maybe a few refinements could be made, but I believe that this image's composition and concet stand above minor technical flaws. Great work!

On a gut-feeling level, the pic shouts about something joyous, and makes people want to speculate on what it's all about. I like the lighting, the ball shapes, the art gallery in blue and red. Was there some burning done on the suit, on the area below the art gallery sign? Anyway, I like this lots.

exposure time should be a touch faster to have it sharper

I looks a bit over-sharpened to me. But it's very interesting. 7 for the idea!

This image looks oversharpened due to the halo around the person

Very interesting photo! Little dark but it's great over all and the concept for the shot is just wonderful with that title!

Some fun here, its a shame that the sharpening has produced a halo around his trousers
This can be avoided by changing to lab Colour mode and sharpening on the lightness chammel...

Definitely one of the more whimsical themes I've seen here in a while! I'm not sure I "get" it entirely, but I do like it :)

Wow... If you could pull off this kind of imagery about 10 more times you could put together a stunning modern twist to Henri Cartier Bresson's style. This is am absolutely brilliant shot, and the title is the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see who did this!

Man has a strange halo around him showing over processing.

Funny and nice shot. I think that the editing was a little overboard and overly obvious on the man himsself, but its a fun shot!

On my monitor I see a halo around the man, probably of dodging the background, or selecting.

Very cool shot! I like the giddiness of it. The horizon seems just a hair crooked, though, but maybe it's just me?
