 I wonder how many will get all four?

1) The symbol
2) The insinuated circle and diameter relationship
3) There are 22 white stones above the diameter and 7 stones below
4) Perhaps most important, in the movie Pi (filmed in grainy B&W) Max and Sol play Go.

Fits The Challenge-Yes
Composition-Good
Background-Good
My Opinion-I'm glad you listed all four. I missed two of them DUH. This shot is very grainy/lots of noise. I also think the light could of been a bit more even. On the positive side...you did PI. It was not and easy subject to shoot. The colors or tones B&W is perfect for this shot. You did well.

Nice black and white. I love "Go", it's such an elegant game. But this arrangement doesn't work for me as a photo. It would be nicer with a bit of shallow DOF and a less busy design.

Clever. The title really clues me in to start looking for pi in its various guises. The high contrast of this photo add an immediacy to it; so I'm puzzled by its use as this does not look like it needs immediacy. The lighting is marvelous and creates a sense of scientific mystery. Nice composition and cropping and a super idea.

Ok - took me a while to get the fourth type of PI - not enough coffee this morning I guess. I think this was clever, but it looks really washed out to me - I am not sure if it is the lighting, or just too grainy but it detracts from the shot for me. I would have liked this to be really really sharp and have better balence on the outside circle so the same number of tokens showed in each corner. =5

Is that GO? Lighting is a little weak, but it's a good idea. Looks pixelated as well for some reason (the white pieces).
