 Title ideas: Amber Sunset, Nature's Gift: Amber, Drops of Sunset, Liquid Light, Liquid Sunset

"Amber is the fossilized resin produced by ancient plants that existed millions of years ago -- it is a natural product and not a mineral. Amber has been prized for its mystery and beauty by cultures dating from the Paleolithic to the present. The story of the natural history of amber spans time, the continents, and many peoples and societies. It also ranges from religion and art to commerce and the cutting edge of contemporary science, presenting an unusually rich and deep subject" (3 Dot Studio).

The sunset was quite vibrant at the time this was shot, so the reflections and colors came out quite vibrant.

Editing: Crop, B&C, Hue/Sat, Color Balance, healed out a small grass chunk in lower right, turned the low right slice of dune green (was a deadish brown/white before), soft blurred the background, size, usm.

Well done, however the one blade of grass in the middle of the pic is kinda distracting.

Like the select focus on the subject but feel you could have done away with the front most green leaf...just distracts me. Very nice detail, colors and DOF.

Cool idea! I like the colour reflected at the jewel mixed with the background's sunset colours. Very unique. Unfortunatly, the jewel could'Ve been sharper as it seems to lack a little focus. Also, the composition is a bit off. I wish i didn't have to see the 'chain' part on top, which takes away from the whole concept. 7

Hey - They're water droplets! Cool idea. ;^) Nice job on the composition. Looks like natural lighting was used - smart idea. I like it. You may take a hit for not attempting to incorporate some text, but hey - it should still do ok. Good luck.

out of focus blades of grass in the foreground is kinda distracting, would have like a greener backdrop to complement the red.

Good job selecting the perfect lighting and colors to bring out the beauty of the drops. The focus is spot on. I'm sorta mixed on the grassy parts. I think I would perfer them all in the background instead of the foreground with the earrings seeming to hang from one of the tan stalks.

Very original presentation. Love the multiple lines in this shot; they contrast very well with the rounded shape of the ear rings. Beautful use of colors and DOF. Good shot!
