Don't you know that centered compositions are against the rules? LOL Great capture. Love the deer wandering across the road. Love the two people walking up the road by the catherdral. Love the small cathedral at the end of the path. I love the fact that the speed voters aren't gonna get to see all those details that add up to an extra point from this much slower voter!

This photo is good enough to not need the explanatory title. |

Nice colors. I know the cathedral is small and doesn't take much frame, but it is hard for my eye to see the cathedral as the focus of the shot. Not enough detail. 5 |

your trees are a bit too dark compared with the sky. |

Nice pic, but IMO it doesn't meet the challenge. There are too many points to focus on. |

even though the lawn looks over-saturated, i like it. the city background is distracting from the park scenery. (7) |

this picture leaves me thinking 'if he had just been a bit faster that lovely deer would have made a great subject' |

The deer, people, signboard and car all distract from the cathedral, taking the eye away from it. Pity you couldn't clone out the odds and ends. |

Subject seems blurry, and nothing really draws the eye to it. Basic concept is nice. |

And could you explain what that link might be?
I see minimum sized subjects not a minimalistic image.
Besides, neither the animals or the cathedral are strong subjects, if tha's where you were going - they don't stand out.
When I look at the picture, all I see is a "straight and narrow path", surrounded by trees - and this is, in my opinion, the main subject, which is not minimalistic at all.
Maybe I'll think differently when I read your explanation... |

Feels a little busy for a minimalist piece, but nice all the same. Very bland sky which spoils it a little |
