The choice of lighting and the glow it created around the ring work well.

| The gold work looks like it's probably quite interesting, but I can't tell because it's so dark...jewel looks nice though. |

| I like the circle of light around the ring, but would have appreciated a little bit more light on the leading side of the ring. That way we could see the detail, and maybe get rid of the foreshadow. |

| It seems to me that much more could have been done to bring out the beauty in this lovely ring. The composition is simply outstanding with the neutral background. despite my comment the image is still very attractive. Bumping up. |

Border and a tighter crop from the bottom would have helped even more this already good image.

| The overall photo is a bit dark for my tastes. If the background were pure white, I think it could add even greater emphasis to the ring. The color in the topaz is very beautiful, though. |

| This could have benefitted from better lighting. The saturation in the stone is nice, I just wish that I could see the rest of the ring better. DO"F is nice. 7 |

| nice, the lighting looks a little too harsh though, it seems that it's been done with a single flashlight held above, this does create a nice effect but it feels like it wants a softer light source from the bottom right to create a better balance |

| Nice colour. Lighting is a bit wierd (from top?) and doesn't really tive the ring any credit. Perharps its becase there is too much contrast between the colours. Composition is good, but a bit on the boring side, since there is nothing to complement the ring. Especially the colour of the 'background', which goes from light white to dark greenish. 5 |

I believe it may have shown better if the side of the ring was not so dark.
