Great idea and meets the challenge well. Composition is wonderful.
It's too bad that the image is so highly compressed - the jpg artifacts are distracting. Use of the full 150K would have eliminated that. |

I think the bird is to small with everything else happening. A strong subject was required |

Like the use of lines to take one's eye to the bird. Good idea and well shot. |

Lines at least fill up the space. The bird does not impact me so much. |

Nice one. Fits the challenge really well. It's just a shame the lines have gone a bit blocky - maybe due to cropping / compression? |

Very good. i would of not had the bird in it to meet a more artistic side of minimalism. |

I understand that you're trying to break up the tedious background with the parallel lines, but the net effect is unfortunately only to distract from the bird, which is so small as to be indistinct.
It was a nice conceptual attempt, but it didn't really work for me. |

The strong angles of the power lines are interesting if not distracting from the subject.. |

great job in making the wires, which are normally an unwanted distraction, into a really interesting compositional element. well done! |

Fits challenge, clever title... BUT it's a bird! I'm sick of birds! ;-) Just kidding ya. I think it's not too bad. |
