The orange cast to the background is rather unappealing.

nice try.
would be more interesting if the subject had some kind of shape, and/or if it were positioned a bit more off-center.

i think it would work better if it werent so centered

I think more interest could have been created by placing the subject off center.

I don't personally care for the centered position of the chocalate chip, maybe the rule of thirds would have worked better in this one. Just my opinion though.

Chips? It doesn't look like a chip, it looks like maybe a dried fig.

i do love the colors here, but feel that more definition on the main subject would've helped...

Intresting! Your use of color is great. How many chips did you eat before getting this shot? Just kidding!
04/28/2005 06:17:37 PM
Would have preferred to see the chip not dead center. Color doesn't make the chocolate particularly appealing. Focus a bit soft.

you betcha!

Seems to lack focus, the whold shot is not sharp. I think your idea is very, very good and it meets the challenge well.

Well executed, but a bit boring texture and color

again, if this had been off-center would be more appealing.. lighing is dark but works here 6

Aww, just eat him and put him out of his misery. Seriuosly, might have been a little stronger composition if it was not quite so dead center

I like this picture!

I bet you get a lot of "what is that?" comments. Here is another...!

Nice photo though - like the dark trail off and the slight texture in the background. good focus and DoF. Like the central composition balanced by the arc of light.
