 I tried out various 'naturey' ideas for this challenge, but felt this little ladybird gave a nice contrast to the yellow/green of the hedge, and fitted the challenge well. Besides, ladybirds sit in the same pose for a lot longer than birds - makes life a bit easier!

the leaves feel a little hot, and it would be nice if they filled up the entire background, rather than the orange-ish color.

I think if you split this image in half and got rid of the left side, the image would have much more impact. YOu did a good job with the challenge. Good lighting. Good luck.

Creating this picture, with so little dof, in this environment, is a sign of someone who really knows his way around with a camera. Great colour. The leaves however are a bit distracting

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking

personally, I find the blurredforeground distracting, taking away some of the minimalism aspect. Nice colours and focus, though. good light.
