| I did not know what to expect when I read the title for this challenge: "minimalism". I never thought of this concept in photography terms. Yet I have to say, that this entry really shows me what minimalism could mean in photography. Brilliant! |

| Liked the photo. Liked the way it went straight up instead of side to side. Border suits the image very well. Just a little bit of noise. I gave it a 7. |

| I really like the narrow image with the flower centered. If you had asked me about it verbally before showing it, I think I would have predicted that it wouldn't work. |

| Neat enough idea, although I think shots using only the very bottom of frame are going to get a touch 'normal' by the end of this challenge :-) It's certainly well organised, and well detailed, but it lacks any greater impact for me - perhaps more careful light would have helped: you could have done more, I think, to shape and define that bloom with a soft high side-light, for instance. |
