I love the comp and what you're trying to do here. However the reflection in the glass is a big distraction to an otherwise near perfect ad. |

I like this shot very much. The large light in the glass is a little distracting but like the star lines you created. |

Lovely lighting. Not sure of the use of the glass as a prop, and it has a slight counter-clockwise tilt. However the jewelry is quite flattering.
This image has a lot of sensor noise and considering the theme of advertisement, where image is crucial, it is more of a factor than in other challenges. |

Nicely composed and detail here is very good.
The small specs & "stuff" could have been cloned out to clean it up a bit, but a good submission regardless.

This is a nice capture. Couple of questions: Why does the glass seem to be leaning left? What are the two lines under the glass that look like an 'X'? The jewelry came out well lit and in focus. Overall, nice job. Good luck. |

This has a lot of potential. The rich burgundy cloth contrasts nicely with the pearls. The pearls are exposed well. What I see as problems are the noise, the glare from the light and the reflection of the photographer in the glass. Oh. And the two gray x marks. A suggestion for the light. Place it somewhat above and behind the glass and use a light reflector (poster board) in front the light up the pearls. Stand back and use the self timer on the camera. |
