Great reflection of the hand. The red is very effective against the gold of the metal pull. Like it alot!

Well, the score for the hand in the ball is 24 comments in favor and 10 comments opposed (at least counting those comments that explicitly mention the hand).

I shot two versions of the picture, one with the hand and one without, but I thought that the "action" of turning off the light helped meet the "strong point of the image, but only occupying a very small portion of the image space" as stated in the challenge.

This was my first challenge submission, so thanks for all the comments!

Clever idea. For me the reflection of the hand is a bit of a distraction. But even with that I think this is a 9.

Very nice, too bad you couldn't do anything about the hand reflection. Unless, of course, you put it there on purpose.

I like this photo a lot. The only thing I am not sure about is the hand in the reflection but i guess you were trying to show that you were going to turn it off? Otherwise I really like. 8 from me...

After coming to this image a second time to make comment...I just noticed the hand i the reflection......My vote of 5 still stayes the same because the subject matter is voiceless....( yes I know this is subjective)

So simple, and yet so well done! I liked this shot right off the bat, but it wasn't until I looked closer that I noticed the reflection of the hand. In my mind, that bumped it up from a 9 to a 10. Very well done.

one of my top choices your photo draws the viewer in to a wonderful place...the backround warms and invites you to come to the subject which holds and extra added surprise...best of luck ....9

An interesting concept. The fading color of the background offsets the tedium, and the hand in the reflection draws the eye. My only real complaint is that the reflected highlights are distracting and make the reflected hand a little hard to look at.
