Challenge: Minimalism (Basic Editing III)

I had this idea as we were coming home from shopping and the sun was setting, when we pulled into our driveway, I quickly had my husband climb up on our van so I could get an angle where there would be nothing but sky behind him as the sunset so he would be backlit, He absolutely HATES doing things like this, here he was standing on our van in town feeling like a fool, but he is such a good sport and did it anyway :-), Anyway, not much was done to this shot, other than resized, adjusted brightness and contrast a bit, hue and saturation of the blue, ran through neat image twice, and added border. |

| cool silhouette...nice gradient...looks a bit too much like a cut-out vs. a photo, but good composition. |

| There are compression artifacts surrounding the man's silhouette. Since you're so far under the file size restriction you might have been able to eliminate this by using a lower compression rate. |

| I find something awkward with the composition you've choosen... I wish I could point it out but I'm having a hard time defining it.. Lets just say I find it a bit awkward. I'm pretty sure you've been voted down as the subject is larger when compared with other entries. However, I like it. 8. I like the way blue breaks into a light shade of red. |

| Love the simplicity! I like how the colors fade into another from the bottom up, I think it adds interest to the silhouette of the man. Great concept and composition. I really think its a great entry. |
