The subject fails to dominate the picture. Nice try though. |

Since the background is such a rich color I think that your subject would have been stronger if it was a stronger color or a different texture. As it stands the heart just looks shiny, which doesn't make it stand out from the background as much as it might. If the heart was frosted glass, for example, it might have stood out more. |

Like the idea but uncertain if the photograph works. Maybe it should be red on gold to bring the subject to the front. |

Love the red; it's very fluid and definitely adds to the mood of the photo! Vignetting also a nice effect. 9 |

Lighting is a little harsh on the heart. |

The light and the effect is has on the fabric is absolutely sumptuous...the teensy bit of glare on the little heart is somewhat "hot", but this would have been easliy fixed with a bit of burning, which I know was not allowed in this challenge, a beautiful lush picture. |

Pretty background, without being distracting, and the subject immediately draws the eye. The image as a whole is evocative as well. My only nit (that keeps this from being a 10), is that the center of the heart (candy?) is harshly reflective. This does draw the eye, but crosses over into painful glare, obscuring what it actually is. |

Jewllery maybe, minimalism, not really, the colors are nice, but I just don't see it as minimalistic
