Don't see minimalism here. |

Not enough definition to the bees. |

Not sure this meets the challenge, maybe if you had filled the photo with the bees would have been better? 6 |

This shot doesnt really stand out and say anything to me. Mostly because of the bullseye effect of the photo. |

Doesn't do much for me. I think that composing the shot a little differently (not putting the bees in the middle) might have helped. 4 |

I think this is a neat shot. At first I didn’t like the centered composition but now that I look at it more I like the shape and design of this picture a lot. It reminds me of something I would see in an art museum. |

This would be amazing with deeper colors and more detail. |

At first glance, it looked like an animal left a surprise, but I realise it was bees! Hope they didn't sting you. Nice plain shot though. |

Tough shot to carry off. If the subject is made smaller, it becomes unrecognizeable. As is, however, I think it's too large a piece of the picture. Maybe composing the shot with the bees far to one end of a more stretched-out image? |

interesting find, but low contrast and centered composition make this shot rather boring to look at. and I don't think it meets the challenge either - the hive is too big |

The blob of bugs is too centered. A bit of cropping on either right or left would have helped this out. Also there is this yellow spot where the paint is missing that is distracting. |

Sorry I find this quite boring, perhaps a different PoV would work better, or getting closer to show details (if it isn' too dangerous!) |

What a magnificent close up this would have been, I hope you did that too. As it is, it is kind of mundane due to the lack of detail in the swarm. Sorry. |

This could be a very interesting subject. I don't think the centered composition was necessary the best bet for this shot, though. Perhaps getting quite a bit closer so we can see some of the details of the bees, and placing them in say the lower left corner with the majority of the frame being filled with the cinder block wall might have worked better. Of course, then you'd have had to risk getting stung! |

Oooh stand back - no time to be getting the ultimate macro ;-)
Nice image, just needs some zap, some added lighting may help |
