I agree this is a little overpowering for a minimalist theme. |

sorry, I can't understand what "overpowering" refers to... the picture is nice, though the sky is full of stains (is that the effect of overpowering?) |

the shot feels a little crooked, could maybe be fixed with a free transform |

There is nothing minimal in this picture as I see it... But Good picture never the less. Not suitable for this competition. |

I am not sure about how this shot works for minimalism. Is the bird getting overpowered by all the buildings? If so, IMO the buildings are simply way too prominent for this to work in "minimalism". And, they are a very strong part of the story told here. I think the concept is good, and the picture quite lovely, but as an entry to minimalism I don't think it really works. |

nice use of polarizer... i really like the feel to the photo. my only complaint is that the photo is just a bit too dark. 8 |

Looking at this photograph, I wouldn't have ever thought that the bird was the subject, if it was not for the theme.
But anyway, I liked the shot. And one thing I think may have improved it a little would be to have the shot titled down more, so we could see the street, sidewalk, etc. It just seems off the way you have it. 5. |

I assume you will be hearing this a lot, but I don't know what your subject is here, so I don't feel this meets the challenge. If it's the black thing in the center (bird?), the photo really doesn't work well, because the eye just doesn't naturally gravitate to the bird. Instead, it feels like a shot of buildings lining a street, with a bird that just happened to fly thru. |

I don't know what to look at here. Oh wait now I see it's a bird right? Cool. |

this photo could be a little clearer... maybe use 'curves' and the little droppers to set the white balance using the clouds |

I think this is a bit too cluttered for the challenge. |

Is this a bird? If the black thing in the center is supposed to be the main focus, I am confussed. I don't know what it is, and I find the other elements in the picture to distracting. |

Your title stole my comment. A bit too dark and busy - I see what you were trying to express though. Good effort. |
