surreal imagery...would have liked just a touch less sun glare

I would have used a bowling hat, those sun hats are soooo 1996

great colors and intersting lines, good framing

This is an ok shot, the relection on the water is nice but alittle too bright. The colors are nice htough

The unlevel horizon majorly detracts from what is a pretty good idea.

I think that the idea is good, but as it is the picture is a bit too busy to work for minimalism. Maybe getting a bit closer and having just the hat and grass, hat in one corner of the picture? I don't know if that would work, but it might be worth trying.

The tilted horizon and the bland subject don't do much for me. Maybe taking a different angle on the hat would help. 4

Very nice, but I can not see anything in focus... maybe is my vision :)

Not a lot of red to me in the hat.

the only comment i have to add to this is that i would have cropped it so as just to show grass and maybe punched up the hat a bit...very nice

Beautiful landscape but it takes away from your subject. I would like to see it cropped and see the hat closer up.

The light off of the river is too distracting. Maybe if the sun was behind you instead, the hat would stand out a little more.

I think the glare off the water in the top left corner draws the eyes more than the hat.

I do not believe this fits the challenge. If you would have cropped out the water and trees I believe it would have been better. My eyes are drawn toward the sun glare and the water. My perspective.

The hat (focal point) seems a bit out of focus. You might want to take that with the sun at your back, so you don't get the hot spot from the water.

Nice idea but image quality a bit fuzzy.

I really like the composition. I do wish the lighting had been a little better, though.

great shot, but the hat is too dark... great location too

The sloping horizon makes me lean when I view this. Try and make sure you keep it level if at all possible. You did keep it out of the center so kudos to that. Image lacks a little punch but fits the challenge as near as I can tell.

Great colors and concept, but photo probably taken at wrong time during the day. Sunlight is way too strong, especially reflecting off the water.
