i like it, just wish the trees or bushes were a bit larger, while keeping the size of the hill in the frame the same |

i think you should have made the hill a bit brighter, it looks kinda dull right now. |

Lovely clouds and blue sky. I am not sure how much the hill stands out as the focus of the photo though. 5 |

judging by your title the hill is the subject of your picture but the challenge describes that the subject must also be the strong point of your image. in this case, the clouds seem to have taken control of the picture as the strong point. nice concept and i know you cant control the weather. |

The clouds are more of a focal point than the land. |

Im not sure the main subject of the image is the most minimal in this shot. I feel like it is a picture of the clouds with a little hill thrown in. The clouds are very beautiful, and Im not a real good critique, so I give this an 8. |

Very surreal looking clouds, but the clouds add too much to the photo. I'm sure if Mother Nature would have cooperated and given you a clear day... :) |

There was another similar entry to this and I will say the same thing: I think the image could have been enhanced with a subject on the hill such as a person, horse, building etc. I do like the cloud formations and the colour in the sky. |

Like just a small portion of the hill showing in this photograph. Nice to see some clouds in the blue sky. Lke the color contrast. Well done. |

This works very well for me. it's the connection of the cloud to the hill that does it. I suspect others may think the hill's "not the subject" of this image, but I don't agree. Strong entry in my book. |

By the title I think the subject is the hill but the clouds in the sky take me away from it. If the exposure was for the hill instead of the clouds, it would make a huge difference. |

I like the idea in this photo, but it seems like it was shot at 1600 or 800 film speed, and this detracts from it. NIce concept and composition though, 6 |

This is a good idea, but I think the hill needs something more to make it a stronger subject. As it is, it's kind of just an empty hill. Great cloud formation, though. |
