I don't care for the centered subject. If this had been the flags challenge and you selected the appropriate colors this would have been a solid entry for the Japanese flag.

I like it, but it is a little too centered for me.

one of the few shots in the challenge brave enough to stick their subject right in the middle of the frame, it certainly stands out

Excellent treatment here, but a bit closer would have been stronger.

Nice colors and lighting of the ball.
A bit too centered which make it look a little bit like the Japan flag (although it's not white) but I guess if the ball was not so centered, it would look just like all other shots. Somehow the center composition does give it a unique feeling.

this is a neat little abstract... what is that a kickball? I see hexagons, maybe you painted a soccerball red. In this case the bullseye shot works ok.

I like the red/blue contrast, but placing the ball in the center of the picture just doesn't draw me to the picture. 5

nice, but would be better if not centered in the frame.

Nice. I think the centered composition really works here. I also think that the shadow on the ball helps define its shape.

Great contrast

Nice, maybe a less central position for the ball would help

This might have had more impact if the subject was off centre.
