Great bokeh. The branch leads my eyes out of the image, but in this case that's where you've placed the subject, so this compositional device works in your favor. |

This is beautiful, not minimalism but then DPC didn't define this competiton as that artistic definition so you get a good vote on this one 8 |

I like the way the squirrel sort of surprises me with its presence! He's just so coy, as squirrels will be. Neatly conceived! |

the foreground is amazing imo, the squirrel peeking its head into the shot is very effective and well captured. I find the background especially the whites very distracting. If the sky was more blue and more blurred I think that could have worked really well. |

Look at that cheeky little fellow up in the corner! The depth of field is very effective in this picture and the color is right on, very nicely done. |

Funny how these shots would be reemed in other challenges for cutting off the subject. :) |

That guy was hiding in there. I found the sq. Then it was nice. Hurts my eyes with the blur. |

The hanging branch over powers the squirrel which I believe to be your main subject. The branch is a bit large for minimalism, but still a very good shot. 6 |

Good coloring. He stands out amongst the green. Too bad we can't see more of him. |

First thing you see is the branch, but then suddenly, as though he just popped out of nowhere, you spot the squirel. Nicely done. |

Almost missed him, I wonder if that is good or bad for composition. I guess more good than bad in this instance. |

Im not sure cutting the poor squirrels head off counts as minimalism :) |

Questionable whether this meets the challenge. The tree limb draws me away from the little critter. The tree limb is in focus better than the subject. |

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking |
