this is amazing ... i'm wondering if you wrote your comment about losing before or after you achieved the most difficult ribbon of all?? .. coz if you wrote it before, then it's like you really have defied time !!.. unfortunately i dont reckon this actually deserved a ribbon .. the voters totally got it wrong AGAIN .. sorry ....
love your new name ... loved the old one too .. !!
(of course my comment about you achieving the most difficult ribbon of all is a bit silly .. like i cant seem to get ANY ribbon, no matter wot colour!!!)

Looks like a carrier to me. Good DOF.

I don't think this meets the challenge.

Nice bokeh. Even if I did have a strong mood associated with losing a came of Battleship, this is quite a stretch. If the subject matter were inherently more emotionally charged (e.g. a picture of a cemetery), then you might be able to get away with something this far removed from a direct depiction of a mood.

OMG, this brings back memories of bad moods. Very creative. After nearly five years of playing this with my wife at the cottage and never winning a single game, only coming close, she finally admitted to me that she'd moved her ships every time I was close to winning! Great lighting and dof on your shot!

is that a mood?
05/04/2005 10:32:17 AM
Doesn't create much of a mood to me.

and the mood is? "sunk-ness"?

Although I donít say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who donít leave a comment.
Donít take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I donít see an emotion. This could be my fault, but thatís the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.
