Well, not sure about the mood. But - I know youd didn't like the border but I love it so that doesn't matter at all. And I love that foto also.

Have no idea how this will go here on DPC. Could be high - could also be low. Well it's not good at all to be to often on top 10 or above 6!

The boarder is very interesting, I like the way it works into the photo

Not a fan of the blurred border, but I really like this image...

In the use of your editing, and the original lighting conditions you've given the statue a downtrodden feel that works really well with your title.

I hope people vote for this image based on the image, and not on the religeous issues. 8

I like the effect on the outside and the kind of darkness to it.

I like the concept for the border, but I feel like the black is inset a bit too far and that a 1-pixel stroke would have been thick enough. The colors are stunning, and the tonal range is very nice. Looks like slight oversharpening on the roofline. (could have been fixed by duplicating the image layer, sharpening the duplicate, and masking out that portion of it.) overall very weird, not sure about its capturing a mood, but an appealing picture in its own right.

border disturbs me because the picture itself is so awesome, and creepy... bluring the edges just takes away from it

I don't like the frame, but nice color and contrast.

Sorta scares you and I know, I was an alterboy. Excellent use of frame, color, tone and so on. This is a very grim and intimidating portrayal of the "Big Eye" of religion.

Don't know about emotion, but this is certainly a very moody shot - so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, though I have to say (and I'm sure others have too) that I think the border detracts from what is otherwise an excellent composition. 7

Stunning photo - nice work. I really like the inner box focus/outer box out of focus effect. I'm not sure how well it fits the theme, but otherwise excellent job. I like the colors, the clarity, and the ominous air it has about it. (8)

Very much not a fan of this border which draws more attention than the photo itself, which is a shame as it's a great photo with effective colours, lighting and a good sky. The edge of the building looks oversharpened.

the border haters will hate this one - I am a border hater and I actually like the border and LOVE the photo

Very interesting and abstract feel to this shot. Very well done the lighting and colors are absolutaly wonderfull. The only small complaint I have is the sky inside the boarder looks grainy. I'm going to chalk that one up as just compession noise. Overall great job.

I admire this photo very much. The textures on the walls are gritty, and the foreground status is very nicely placed in the composition. This is one of my 9s, and I know this is being picky (it's hard to be picky with this shot) but I'd rate this a 10 had the border been simpler. in my humble feelings, this border took away from the awesome shot. sorry.

I like this. Really a nice mood here. I believe it's strong enough to stand on it's own without the frame.8

Don't care for the border or the cloud grain in the USMed part, but is a good image. Interesting colors with dark overtone.

Great lighting, excellent compostion. Would have been a 10 but the border really hurts this for me. 8.
