A shot inspired by the green stop sign. Like to see how the folks at DPC respond to heavy PS editing. Took some time adjusting the hue/saturation sliders, but did'nt take down any notes.
Hope I won't be slapped a lawsiut by Coke and Pepsi. :)

COMPOSITION
I really like the way you have positioned the cans. It adds interest to the shot, as well as balance. Nice sized crop as well.

TECHNIQUE
Great focus. The cans are very clear, and the details on them are outstanding. This was a neat effect with the colors, adn definitely made me do a take a second look. I do think a smooth background would have been less distracting, though the white was an excellent choice. If you could have somehow prevented the "reflection" of color on the cloth, which probably became more noticeable after post-processing, I think it would have been even more effective. The light spots are a bit distracting, as they make the cans look "hot" in some spots. If you do not have lights with a diffuser, sometimes a thin piece of paper (tissue, papertowel, etc.) can work, or perhaps moving the lights further back.

OVERALL EFFECT
A great idea, executed nicely. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Best to you in future challenges.

Brilliant concept, and compositionally the can positioning and background make the result very aesthetically pleasing. Good work. 10

This is one of the best shots that I don't personally like. It messes with my mind - I get the concept, I even like the background. I don't like the "la" reflection on Coca Cola or the hot spot under the SI in pepSI, but it's a solid shot.

Choice! Absolutely no reflections and the lighting is optimal, I really like this one.

Looks overly saturated and sharpened a bit too much? Maybe I'm wrong..

Very clever and unique. Can't figure out how you did it unless they really produced those cans.

The flare on the Coke takes away from a great photo.

Cleaver.

neat effect!! How'd you do the two different things at once? I'm sure the answer is simple, once you tell me. :)

Very nice. So rich in color. Love the composistion of the cans and the white back drop shows these colors nicely. Keep up the good work.

Oohh how shocking. Great colour reversal. Love your idea. Personally I like pepsi better than coke. You?

This is a cool idea, but I think I have seen something very similar in an earlier challenge. It is definitely a clever idea. You might try some sort of diffuser over your light source(s) in order to reduce the hot-spots on the cans. The most critical one being on the Coke can. I know this probably couldn’t be prevented but I find the red area below the Pepsi can to be a little displeasing. I am not sure if this is the case but it looks like there is some clipping in the highlights on the drop-cloth in the background. For me these highlights detract from the photo. You might have had better luck using a wider aperture to throw the background more out of focus. I gave this one a 5.

Is the Coke can really blue or did you tweak it somehow to be blue? Pretty good shot.

OK how?

very fun photo. would have preferred a solid white background (ie: invisible, looks professional) as opposed to the sheet (shot at home look).
