Seems a bit out of focus, but I assume you weren't sitting on the bird to get the shot. I like the choice of colors and crop, but what was the whole bird like? |

Lovely colors. The DOF might be a tiny bit too shallow, I am wishing I could see more sharp detail on the closest feathers. |

The colours are totally vibrant here, just the right exposure. Its easy to see these are feathers, but composition wise I almost wish for a little more of the bird..maybe its eye or something, just to give the picture a little more personality. |

An interesting shot to say the least. Did you take it with the focus off on purpose? I think it would be sooooo much better if the feathers were sharp, sharp, sharp. 6 |

great colors! is this reflected in a mirror? seems a little grainy and the focus looks like it was more on the reflection than on the subject. nice, vivid colors, though. |

cool. focus seems a little soft (was it a moving target?) but it works well for this challenge. |

Very nice use of color here. I like the composition and the lines in this shot. The photo doesn̢۪t looks as sharp as it might be on my screen but it isn̢۪t too far off either. I think this meets the challenge well as color is definitely the dominant element here. I know this is an abstract but it might work better if you show more of the bird. There just isn̢۪t enough here to hold my attention for very long. Overall I think the photo is well done and I gave it a 5.

Love the bright colors of the macaw. Nice rainbow effect of colors. Great job. |

The color is supurb, but the framing and focus gives this the look of a fine painting. |

Beautiful. You should have made it bigger (upsampling, if it was necessary). |
