nice close up.. Yours???? the bird that is. what did you use to get that. I am interested, because is just bought a new f717 from sony.

Seems a bit out of focus, but I assume you weren't sitting on the bird to get the shot. I like the choice of colors and crop, but what was the whole bird like?

Lovely colors. The DOF might be a tiny bit too shallow, I am wishing I could see more sharp detail on the closest feathers.

Great use of colors.

The colours are totally vibrant here, just the right exposure. Its easy to see these are feathers, but composition wise I almost wish for a little more of the bird..maybe its eye or something, just to give the picture a little more personality.

Good adherence to theme.

An interesting shot to say the least. Did you take it with the focus off on purpose? I think it would be sooooo much better if the feathers were sharp, sharp, sharp. 6

great colors! is this reflected in a mirror? seems a little grainy and the focus looks like it was more on the reflection than on the subject. nice, vivid colors, though.

I'd prefer to see the whole shot in fcus.

cool. focus seems a little soft (was it a moving target?) but it works well for this challenge.

Very nice use of color here. I like the composition and the lines in this shot. The photo doesn̢۪t looks as sharp as it might be on my screen but it isn̢۪t too far off either. I think this meets the challenge well as color is definitely the dominant element here. I know this is an abstract but it might work better if you show more of the bird. There just isn̢۪t enough here to hold my attention for very long. Overall I think the photo is well done and I gave it a 5.

Love the bright colors of the macaw. Nice rainbow effect of colors. Great job.

The color is supurb, but the framing and focus gives this the look of a fine painting.

Beautiful. You should have made it bigger (upsampling, if it was necessary).

Would like to see the rest of this shot
