While I feel the "joy" in this image, there are a few things that could be improved on to make this a better image. First, I would have cropped closer, removing much of the sky. 2nd, a fill flash would have reduced the deep shadows on her face, and third, I don't think you should have cut her feet off. One "rule" in photography - if you must cut, never do it at a joint.

that is a bad crop. you cant see if she is jumping or not. sorry

i feel this would be more effective with the entire body, including feet showing, and a crop that shows a bit of blue sky to show higher elevation. the green of the tree poses a small distraction issue, imho. 8

looks too much like shes standing on something instead of jumping

Since her feet are outside of the frame it's hard to tell if she's jumping or just standing on something higher than the camera. "Standing on top of the world" conveys the same general mood, and fits the image a bit better. In either case, this is still a strong picture. The strong shadows are less than ideal, but it's not a major concern in this case.

would have liked to have framed pic so that young lady was to right of tree ... pretty good exposure though in very difficult bright midday light

Too high of a crop on the bottom. I'd like to see some air below those feet. Otherwise great catch!

this image would be better if the feet were totally in the photo

doesn't look like jumping, but may be standing somewhere.. looking at the two legs, I doubt a jump-action here ...
I would like to see more light on the face and a little sharpness as you can possibly use faster shutter during day conditions... 5

Such a shame the tree is behind the leg and the feet have been chopped off, otherwise a great mood. Some fill in flash could have prevented the deep shadows on her face.

This is out of sight. Perfect for this challenge. My only critique (and it's a very minor one) is that you should be able to see all of the feet. However, I know how these things go... it's always hard to capture someone in the air like this. 9

Nice but I think you cropped too tight on the bottom.

Would have scored higher if bottom wasn't cut off. 6.
