Taken at a LL softball game. This little girl loves playing and the joy that is the essence of little league shows constantly on her face. I Used lasso to select her and then inverted then feathered then applied gaussian blur and deselected then applied auto levels. Then applied USM

would have been a better shot if the subject wasn't cut off

Defanetly having fun, a good expression too... The things in the background are a bit distracting though they are a part of the game, I think this could be neat if you was to move slightly to the left and capture more of the side lines of the field or perhaps a tighter crop... Maybe even the pitcher and umpire included would be a good shot... 8

Nice candid portrait. The boy really looks happy and it communicates to the viewer.

This shot is simple but great! It looks as though it is her first time at bat.

Nice capture. Very colorful and well focus. Would have been nice to see all of the little ball player.

Would work much better if the bat and arm weren't cropped off. Cropped spectators' heads don't help.

Nice shot. Looks like fun! I think the hidden bonus is that the fence makes a nifty transition to background. I'm going to have to remember that. Good job.

Well you captured emotion - the excitement of coming into bat! It's a shame the background is so distracting, but maybe you didn't have a choice there. Would have composed it differently showing all of her and the bat in frame. Nice clear shot though.

good snapshot; cropping is not quite good though, the chopped bat doesn't help

Excellent capture. A little less on the light on the helmet(like we can put out the sun, lol). 9
