| I think the soft focus on your subject adds to the tranquility of the image, to me it says the world is quiet and so am I, at peace in me. |

| I like the idea for this picture and the background is great! The focus on your subject seems too soft here though. And I probably would have gotten the camera lower to get a closer shot on your subject and keep the interesting lights and reflections in the background. I think the flash could either be a good thing to balance the color cast from the lights, or a bad thing taking away from the overall mood of the picture. I personally perfer natural lighting when possible, but this is definitely a tricky shot to get the white balance right. But it looks like the pole your subject is stiing in front of became the focal point in your camera's AF. That's one of the tricky things about night shots is getting the focus right!! Good luck! 6 |

| I like this shot. Only thing I would change is to have a little warmer, more indirect lighting on the foreground. It looks like on-camera flash was used, and it really makes things look flat and blah there. With a little more natural looking lighting this could be a winner. |

| Outstanding photograph that tells a story. Moody, but not too dark, very fine detail shown. I really like the lighting, colors. The fog, with glowing lights on the bridge showing through it, the water reflecting this, to the bricks of the pavement in front of the seated musician. Nice touch, sunglasses on at night. Excellent composition. Stellar focus for a night shot. I just can't say enough about this photograph. 10! |

| Very pretty colors and a haunting feel. It touches a soft spot in me because I also have memories of sitting alone on cold stone with only my guitar for company. The image is marred by being slightly blurry, however. |

| I think that perhaps the lighting on the foreground is a little too bright in comparison with the rest of the frame. |

| i love the perspective and golden sheen of the background. I think the foreground flash takes away from the successful rendering of the background. |

| Very stricking photo. Only thing that throws me is the angle of the camera. Everything is perpindicular and the horizon is level. IMHO the bricks not being straight bothers me some. |

| combnations of colors is odd. I would not have used a flash and let ambient light fill the shot. color correcting this light back to white also makes a better shot then. |
