Intitial Impact: This is a very beautiful scene. The first thing I look at is the person in the photo then to the rocks, then the river, then the sky. My eye goes where I think you want it to go.

Sharpness: Focus is good all around the photo.

Composition: I like the composition. The rock on the right is cut off but that doesn't take away from your photo.

Overall: I like it the only things I would change is try not to lose all the detail in the face. It is hard because of the distance. Maybe bump the greens up a little to make the moss on the rocks pop a little more. Judging from the title of the image I would have had the subject stand on the farthest edge. That would hold a bet5ter meaning to me. Maybe brighten up the clouds on the right a touch.

I hope this helps and good luck in all future challenges.

great mood being exuded by the image. dark clouds appear correctly dark right above the subject, and creates the sense that the person is being chased by something "bad." the greenish tint to the rocks and beach works well to compliment the darker colors here. 9 on first pass, but bumping to 10 on second.

Your model seems to have no discernible detail left on their face. I think that this image would have more tension if the person was standing above the steeper-looking edge of the boulder that's closer to the water.

The image creates a sense of anxiety for me. Will he keep his balance on the slippery slope? Will the gathering storm deluge him before he can get safely down?

Beatuiful but how do you see the mood? Maybe the clouds are a bit to burned the sweater could be a little lighter as well.

A little overposed but it ads to the funky drama I get from this

I dont like this for a few reasons.

1. I don't think it portrays an emotion. On-Edge? I think thats a mood, not an emotion though.

2. I can see gray blotches where you tried to burn in the sky. It almost has a pixelated look.

This fits the challenge as has an intereting and rather unique composition. I feel the darkness of the photo works well with the mood you are trying to portray. The water looks a little ackward to to me, and the model could use a bit more light. As it is the model is easy to overlook. Overall a pretty nice shot.

Love the figure and the sky. Good composition. Gamma seems too low though, I had to turn the brightness on my monitor right up.

Personally, the whole idea of this challenge was to show a mood *from* a subject, not try and pull a mood from me.. (which ever good photograph should do anyway). Your post-processing is very moody, sure, but I just don't buy it as meeting the challenge to my satisfaction.

This photo definitely has mood, but I'm not sure it captures an emotion.

Solid take on this challenge-a bit dark, but still it works.

Bits of blue in the clouds distract....

I would re-crop this as a vertical shot with just thr right half. I think you'd have scored a point or so higher.

nice. I would of had the model more towards the edge ;-). Plus more in focus to show an emotion. Seems to be noise in the clouds. 7

Beautiful shot, for your title it would have been nice if he was a little further to the left, closer to the edge.

very dramatic and rather weird. the location is quite amazing. I really like how the dark like of cloud at the top balances out the landscape and the figure below. the only change I might suggest would be dodging the person slightly- not enough to make him glow but just the slightest bit to make him a stronger compositional element instead of blending into the rocks.
